Should I bring my own container if I want to take home brine for my feta or olives?
Yes! We encourage our customers to bring a container if they'd like brine with their feta or olives. We do not sell containers at the retail location
and we cannot put the brine in bags. No exceptions. Thanks!
What are the minimum amounts for my cheese and olive orders?
We have a half pound minimum on all cheese and olives except for some of the really big wheels (reggiano, romano, ...) on which we do a pound minimum.
Any less and they'd be gone by the time you get out of traffic!
Do you still carry the specific brand I'm looking for?
The best way to check is to call, email, or come into the store. If you're coming from far away for a specific product it's not a bad idea to call before
you make the drive! Many of our products are seasonal or only occasionally available, but if you're really interested in a certain item please let us
know and we'll see what we can do.
Do you have parking available?
We have 15 parking spots available in the building's parking garage in addition to street parking in the area.
How does your bulk food section work?
We provide jars and gravity bins full of many different bulk items from around the world. You choose the amount and serve yourself, either in bags or in
containers of your own (feel free to use our scales to get a tare weight before you put bulk items in your containers). Our bulk section does not
have a PLU number system - if you write the name or just remember what's in each bag that's good enough for us!
What methods of payment do you take?
We accept cash, checks, EBT, and credit/debit cards, with the exception of American Express (sorry, we know you love your points).
